The Kahnawà:ke Gambling Survey
The Kahnawà:ke Gambling Survey is part of a broader project titled ‘Understanding gambling in the community of Kahnawà:ke: an ongoing dialogue.’ This project is a community-led study launched in 2018 by KSCS Primary Prevention and Addiction Response Services, and Concordia University to explore gambling practices and harm reduction through sustained dialogue with the community. To date, the study has conducted a talking circle and interviews with Kahnawa’kehró:non, and now seeks to understand broader opinions and habits amongst community members about gambling.

How can you take the survey?
Telephone
You may hear from PlanIt by phone if you are randomly selected to participate in the survey! If you’d like to schedule a time to take the survey by phone, please contact melissajean@planitkahnawake.ca or call 514-971-8077.
Survey Kiosk
We will be popping up around the community with ipads and paper copies of the survey to make participation accessible. Keep an eye out for us around the community or take a look at our kiosk calendar so far.
Online
To make taking the survey more convenient, you can request to answer the questions online, anonymously. To request the survey, please enter your information in the request form. Your name will not be associated with your responses and a random code will be assigned to your survey to ensure anonymity and confidentiality.
In person appointment
If you would like us to conduct the survey with you in person or deliver a paper copy to you, please reach us at melissajean@planitkahnawake.ca or 514-971-8077. We are happy to send a surveyor to help you out.

If you’d like to request an online survey that you can self administer, please provide us with your information and we will send you a secure link. No personal identifiers will be associated with the survey. Your responses are confidential and anonymous!
