What is the Indigenous Health Research Summit?

The Indigenous Health Research Summit taking place in Kahnawà:ke on September 10-11-12, 2025, will be a celebration of 30 years of research by KSDPP and a space for knowledge sharing between Indigenous communities on wise-practices, tools and methods in community-led research, ethics and data governance.

GOLDEN AGE CLUB ACTIVITIES:

DAY 1, Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at the Kahnawà:ke Golden Age Club:  Day 1 is a showcase of KSDPP research with other Kahnawà:ke researchers (KEPO, KSCS, KEC, Step-by-Step, Skátne Ionkwaweientehta'onhatie) to share their work. This day is for the community to celebrate!

DAY 3, Friday, September 12, 2025 at the Kahnawà:ke Golden Age Club: Day 3 will feature panels, roundtables and presentations on research through the arts, self-determination in youth research with youth leaders, and will make space for emerging Indigenous health research.
